Do you love fashion? Do you dream of setting up displays for some of the best designers in the country? If so, a top national retail and creative agency is searching for freelance visual merchandisers in the major metropolitan areas across the country. Candidate must: - Have knowledge of or experience in the optical industry. - Have retail and visual merchandising experience and a knack for creativity. - Be a self-starter with ability to represent yourself professionally as a liaison with retail managers. - Be able to assess retail space and create a way to showcase client's product in the most visually stimulating way possible. - Visually merchandise product and a front window display for fashion client. This set up will include fashion product, POP (point of purchase) posters and various props to decorate the front window area. - All applicants will be required to own a set of tools and must have them onsite at all times. - Take before and after photos (using a high resolution camera) of your work and notes on your setup and report to the agency on the same day.
