We have a room available for sublet in a 5BR deluxe loft building. Top floor, new elevator, new bathroom, new kitchen w. dishwasher, central air, wifi, and huge rooftop with normal access The place is spacious (yes, really.) It‘s 2800sf total, with 20ft ceilings), clean, well-designed... note: if tv is important to you, you should know there isn't one here.

THE ROOM available:

The 'Front' Room: 14’ x 9’ (x2): This room is fully lofted with stairs. Lower level has a huge window facing Manhattan Ave. Upper level is accessed by seperate stairs and is carpeted with interior windows for light and ventilation. This room is larger, bc of loft, but also located near commons space - hence the same rent. ($1200 incl. utilities)

ABOUT US:
3 boys, 1 girl. We are between 28-38, tidy, responsible, professional, some are great cooks, respectful, try to have some semblance of being healthy, educated, creative, well-traveled, and not psychotic. We all have different schedules and do not 'bring the party home'. . 2 of us are long time friends and have lived in shared lofts for a long time, and have respect for a clean, flexible living space.

No smoking. pets or pet smoking.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
Greenpoint is lively and safe neighborhood with lots of hip spots and lots of specialty shops. The loft is 1.5 blocks north of the subway (G at Nassau) and 2 blocks from an amazing fruit/veg/deli/natural foods store (The Garden), the YMCA, as well as a handful of great bars and restaurants of all sorts, McCarren Park, and you can’t throw a _____ without hitting a ‘brunch’ place. Additionally, there are a number of bus lines available, and Zipcar is down the street.

ABOUT YOU (hopefully):
Similar to above and looking for a sublet for a minimum of 3-6 months. You will need to be able to: play with others/share, pay rent on time, show proof of income, be house-trained, sign a sublease, and pay first month’s and security upon signing. Most importantly, please be drama-free. :)

Our home is a clean slate at the moment, and being re-designed with clean lines in mind and neutral colors; it will be a lovely place to come home to. Not necessarily a raging party house, but not exactly uptight.
