What you need for this position:
- Start-up experience
- Experience working for a large IT, Telecom, Consumer Electronic and/or Electronic Device company
- Actively contributed in a live product launch
- Understand product functionality and capability gaps; ability to define ways to address gaps using product enhancements, partners, etc.
- Ability to present technologies as a business solution
- Knowledge of technical possibilities and limitations of product
- Proves success in selling into complex sales environments, ie business and technical buyers
- Strong background in developing custom technical solutions
- Fundamental knowledge of electronics, computer hardware, networks, and wireless technologies
- Strong communication skills; ability to articulate in both technical and non-technical language between customers and engineers
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
What you'll be doing:
- Assume ownership of company's sales objectives
- Manage sales cycle, from strategic planning, to cold calling to RFQ's
- Roll up your sleeves when necessary
- Formulate sales in a way to leverage our company's strengths and maximize customer satisfaction
- Identify high potential customers
- Understand market place
- Recognize customer's product needs
- Present applications to clients; advise on how to reduce costs or increase revenue
- Generate business through cold calling
- Efficiently close long lead sales in a short period of time
