All our cats/dogs/rabbits are in NYC unless otherwise noted. Many of us will be at Petco E86/Lex on Sundays 12.30-5!* Please come! We are always looking for vols/fosters and especially Purrmanent homes:) We do out of state adoptions if you can come and get the pet and if we can gain assurance of the home through a visit or other means. In the NYC area we generally deliver at the time of adoption. All of your adopted cats and dogs are eligible for the PetFirst adoption policy. As a Petfinder member, our organization is automatically included as an option on the new adopter enrollment form (see it online at https://pets.petfirsthealthcare.com/petfinder/enroll.aspx). All you have to do is make sure our adopters KNOW about the opportunity so they can easily activate a plan to protect their new adoptee by calling or going online to www.petfirst.com/petfinder to activate their new pet policy.All of your adopted cats and dogs are eligible for the PetFirst adoption policy. Moe is a frisky, friendly, endearingly pint-size, agouti-coated adult male Britannia Petite mix. When hes not zipping around during his out-of-cage playtime, he enjoys being petted and having his forehead scratched. Yet sometimes hes so busy running, binkying and investigating and marking his territory that you just have to wait -- until he flops -- before you can pet him. Moe will be neutered by the time he goes to his new home. He enjoys a well-furnished litterbox, but he and his new people will need to train each other in litterbox location, maintenance and use. If you want to know about cats/dogs specifically being shown at our adoption locations, please email us cats@zanisfurryfriends.org closer to the date so we know your interest and will make every effort to have that pet at the event or let you know how and where you can meet. It is extemely helpful and speeds up adoption if the application is filled out prior to visiting us so please do that before coming to Petco or other weekend event. Our weekend locations are: Sunday Petco E86th/Lex 12.30-5, some Saturdays at the same Petco same hours, and alternating Saturdays at Petstop on Columbus between W87/88th 12-5pm. Usually we are in our foster homes so all this is a bit more stressful but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster. And you can always donate:) Cats and Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD w/ all age appropriate shots and microchipped. Cats are feline combo tested for FIV/FeLV; dogs are heartworm tested and rabies vax'd, (NOT lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it); rabbits are spayed/neutered.
