Description Under direction, coordinates and directs patient care of the Leukemia patients, by performing direct patient care: sees, examines and develops treatment plans for patients during outpatient clinic sessions; interprets incoming lab results and radiological studies; maintains accurate and complete medical records; participates in relevant multidisciplinary clinical conferences; functions as an integral part of clinical research team; educates patients regarding their conditions and treatments; acts as a liaison between the outpatient and inpatient hematology/oncology units; performs other job related duties as required.
Nurse Practitioner and New York State License required; must have 3 years experience, preferably in a clinical and research setting; excellent organization and communication skills.
