If you are a Clinical Dean with a Doctorate or Medicine degree, please read on!


What you need for this position:

- Doctor of Medicine degree

- 10 years experience as a clinical dean or senior member of a clinical department

- Thorough knowledge of accreditation standards as they apply to the clinical program

- Knowledge of state and regulatory issues as they pertain to foreign medical schools


What you'll be doing:

- Developing the clinical curriculum

- Establishing affiliations with teaching hospitals in the U.S. and the United Kingdom

- Overseeing scheduling & placement of students at clinical sites

- Participating in the accreditation and approval process both in the U.S. and the Caribbean

- Recruiting clinical chairpersons

- Acting as liaison with various administrative offices including registrar, admissions, bursar, financial aid

- Establishing budgets

- Developing clinical staff
