Description Under direction, provides operations and system administration leadership during the implementation and operation of the mySAP ERP software: manages the activities of the administrations and operations staff; oversees the development and maintenance of the SAP NetWeaver technology stack in support of the business requirements for mySAP; supervises the development and maintenance of the security strategy for mySAP across all landscapes; ensures all required batch processes are run as scheduled; manages relationship with hosting vendor to ensure support is provided; monitors vendor's performance against service level agreements; in collaboration with hosting vendor and other units develops, tests and maintains the ITS portion of the mySAP disaster recovery plan; recommends improvements in system performance and functionality; performs other job related duties as required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration and 10 years of systems administration and or operation management experience required; must have a minimum of five years experience in administering or support SAP solution; previous experience in Higher Education or Healthcare a plus; must have knowledge of information system development lifecycle methodologies needed to support the integration of software applications into a service-oriented architecture; must be able to work off hours and weekends as needed; excellent organization and communication skills.
