One of SGA's financial services clients in downtown NYC is seeking a Performance Test Engineer for a full time position. Please note, THE CLIENT DOES NOT SPONSOR CANDIDATES FOR EMPLOYMENT.


Responsibilities will include: translation of software specs and user requirements into performance test

scenarios, develop performance test plans and other test artifacts, design/build and execute performance tests for browser and non-browser applications, analyze test data to indentify potential problems/solutions for users and improve/introduce procedures and tools to further enhance the performance test effort for the company.


Technical Requirements:

*Detailed knowledge of Web application architecture
*Ability to innovate and introduce new test tools and testing techniques as required
*Working knowledge of Unix
*Working knowledge of Websphere or Weblogic
*Experience with Oracle 10 G
*Experience with MQ
*Working knowledge of Performance Test tools (Compuware preferred)
*Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word.
