Global Investment Bank located in New York, NY has immediate Contract opportunities for experienced Data Specialists.


Needed: highly organized and methodical people with skills in data analysis and problem solving across a range of technologies. The job entails creating and executing large scale, automated, searches for sensitive data across production Mainframe and distributed computing platforms.

Maintain acute awareness of production environment stability.


Be resourceful and creative with a wide variety of available tools.

Use regular expressions, text parsing, and data mining techniques to search for defined data patterns. Use data search tools, such as Vontu, and scripts written in Perl.

Be comfortable working in a Unix environment, primarily Linux.

Write modular Perl scripts for parsing text and querying databases.

Work with databases, such as Sybase, Oracle, DB2, ADABAS, and SQL Serve
