They are really sturdy and close well. They also keep the water out very well, no leakage at all. I like them a lot - I actually use them every day just in the shower to conserve soap.

I love this product! Just returned from a trip across country with it. The lid holds tight and snugly, so even the baggage handlers rough treatment didn't cause it to pop open.
