Our client has secured our staffing services to locate a Senior .Net Developer to work from their Suffolk County location. The atmosphere is collegial, and imaginative colleagues make for exciting and professionally challenging work days.

The compensation plan will be commenstruate to your experience. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. The position is considered full-time with benefits.

The selected candidate will develop, review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support organization’s business applications. You will also design and write codes to support existing applications.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Design and develop web-based applications utilizing MS.NET technologies, AJAX, LINQ etc.
· 4+ years of experience in c# is a must.
· Develop code in SQL Server 2000/2005.
· Support existing windows client-server and / or web applications developed in house.
· Assist in defining and creating all project documentation.
· Assist in the preparation of project timelines.
· Must be able to work independently and also as part of the team.

Principal Accountability: approximate % time expended on each task:

80%
Applications Development: .Net developer position will develop and maintain application written in various technologies like .Net. The person in this position will also be responsible for creating database schemas and writing complex SQL queries as required. This position will perform unit testing of the code developed and will participate in deployment meetings. Create documentation of the code developed.

Architecture / Design: .Net developer will participate in architecture and / or design of new and old application using industry’s best practices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

The candidate must be deeply experience in complex application architecture design on the Microsoft platform. The candidate must demonstrate strong working knowledge in Microsoft .NET technology, and provide assistance in analysis, design development, and support for in-house developed applications.

The candidate must work well in a team environment while working with people at all levels within the MIS department.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
· 4+ yrs in .NET Web application development.
· Web development skills using C#, ASP.NET, XML and XSL, Web Services preferred.
· Must be proficient in application development life cycle.
· Good verbal & written communication skills.
· 4+ yrs of MS SQL database development experience preferred.
· MCSD or MCAD a definite plus.
· Bankcard Industry experience a plus.
