Global Financial Firm located in New York, NY has an immediate contract opportunity for a mid-level Business Analyst.



Risk Viewer is business-critical component of the Trader Workstation, the strategic application for trade capture and lifecycle management, reporting, pricing/market data and risk management for Credit. Specifically it allows business users (typically the regional and global trading heads) to view aggregated and trade-level risk data, which is crucial for the ongoing risk management of their positions. A major release to the Credit Flow business is planned for July 2009.

In addition, the server-side Risk Viewer infrastructure is being re-used in order to expose risk data for downstream consumers such as the Operations, Risk and Product Control functions.

The team is looking to recruit a Business Analyst with at least 5 years experience, ideally in the risk computation and/or reporting space. The role will involve working with key user groups on the trading desk and in the control function to document requirements for new application functionality/enhancements, for new product deployments and for downstream feeds. In addition, the role will involve testing and deployment responsibilities for successive versions of the application.
