Hospital in NYC is looking for a web editor. Help to conceptualize, planned edit content principally for the web. Determine how to best produce and present electronic publications, video, illustrations, outside social material, and other content, including audience specific materials that are directed at patients, researchers, physicians, students, donors, etc. Ensure accuracy and consistency in approach and tone as you edit text for the web that is presented in a variety of multimedia formats, identify areas in which there is need for interactive features and monitor editorial integrity of the hospital’s web sites.
B.A. plus advanced degree in related field, supported by 2-3 years of Web editorial experience and 5 years of hands-on editorial experience. Must have supervised st aff and have working knowledge of Web templates and parameters. An Advanced Degree in a related field, such as Public Health, Journalism, Communications, Medical Writing or Science Writing is preferred.
