Job Description:

The Project/Business Analyst will be responsible for identification and implementation of tactical and strategic solutions within the Credit Derivatives Trade Capture Projects Team. The candidate must be able to think critically, analyze workflows and data, draw conclusions, and suggest potential solutions to mitigate risk exposure, improve efficiency, provide automation, and manage the implementation of these solutions.


This position requires a person who will understand and question current operating models and processing, and identify potential risk exposure. Additionally, the candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills and will liaise with the front and Back Office trade capture teams, control areas and IT team.


The candidate will manage projects and should be able to develop project plans, conduct meetings, provide status reports and interact with senior managers. The candidate will also be required to write business requirements, functional specifications, test scripts and to coordinate and perform User Acceptance Testing.


Requirements:

Prior work experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Project in Credit Derivatives

Understanding of ICE Trust and ICE Clear workflow

Understanding of Clearinghouses in the Credit or Rates products (ICE, CME, LCH)

Knowledge of DTCC Trade Information Warehouse

Knowledge of Trade Capture Systems

Understanding of reference data and its impact on trade capture

Understanding of Straight Through Processing of trades

Prior experience with Systems Development Life Cycle

Solid knowledge of Credit Derivatives

Consulting background is a plus, but not necessary

Versed in Project Management methodologies
