Description The Department of Information Technology and Quantitative Methods of Frank G. Zarb School of Business, Hofstra University invites applications for an anticipated position of assistant professor of Information Technology. This is a full-time, tenure-track position beginning September 1, 2010. The Zarb School is AACSB accredited.


Applicants must have a doctorate in the field of information technology. Qualified ABD's will be considered. Teaching experience in the IT area is desired. Teaching responsibilities include Data Communication and Networks, Database Management Systems, and other IT topics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Experience in the use of SAP to support IT courses is a plus. In addition to excellence in teaching, faculty is expected to conduct research and provide service to the university.
