POSITION DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES:

The English Department is seeking two experienced lecturers. For more information please access the Departmental Webpage: http://www.qcc.cuny.edu/English/default.asp


Duties:

Teach courses in English composition (for native speakers and for second language learners), preferably using Web-based instructional technology. Additional duties will include student advisement, department and college committee work, assessment, and faculty development activities. Evening/weekend schedules may be required.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Master of Arts degree in English and community college experience in teaching composition required. Experience in ESL, Web-based instructional technology, and innovative, student-centered pedagogical practices (including learning communities) strongly preferred.
