All about Marry - Hi! I'm Marry and I'm 2 years old and 50 pounds of love. I'm about medium/large sized - not too big and not too small. Boy, am I glad that my life is taking a turn for the better. I'm living with my foster mom now, but before that I was at the Brooklyn AC&C. About me - I like just about everyone! Right now, I live with two other dogs - I could be all right as an only dog, as long as my family could spend lots of time with me - it makes me really sad to be alone. But I do like other dogs, especially if they'd like to play with me - I'd love that! I also live with a cat, and I'm really interested in her...but she's not very interested in me! My foster mom hasn't had a chance to expose me to kids yet, but I think I'd love them. I love being around men and women - my foster mom is great, but I love my foster grand-dad too - my whole butt wiggles with joy when he comes to take me for a walk! I also looove my new toys - I like squeaky toys a lot! My foster mom thinks I'm great. I am housebroken - I have not had any accidents at all. I take treats gently from the hand, and I don't have any food aggression at all. In fact, if I'm eating from the bowl and my foster mom puts her hand in, I'd rather eat from her hand than the bowl! My foster mom is already starting to teach me some obedience commands, and I'm getting the hang of sit and down pretty well, and it's only been a couple of days (although sometimes I take advantage of down as an opportunity to slide on my back and get a belly rub - I love them!). She also plans on teaching me stay and come, too, so I can be a polite member of society. She says I'm really smart and could even have the makings of a Canine Good Citizen. I just need a little more work and time. So if I sound like the dog for you, fill out an application - you just might be my forever home. And please don't be scared by what some people say about my breed. I'm a lover, not a fighter! A belly rub and toy addict who loves being around people, and also loves friendly dogs who'd like to play with me - what more could you ask for? Give me a chance and you won't be sorry.
