American Staffordshire Terrier - Medium - Senior - Female - Dog

Awesome lady Lulu was scheduled for euthanasia at the kill shelter and we saved her by placing her in a boarding facility so she would no longer be in danger of being put to sleep. Now we are looking for a loving home for her. We can't wait for her to get out of the kennel and into a loving home where she can once again be part of a family. This wonderful mature girl is a constant tail wagger and a sweetheart; she's a fun, sweet cutie pie. She's quite a character; she loves playing with water and tries to catch it. We enjoyed very much taking her for a walk out of her cage and think she'd make a great, mellow & sweet companion for someone; we discovered Lulu very much enjoys love & attention, as she was so lost and confused when she first was surrendered: she was looking for her caretakers everywhere with sad eyes and heavy breathing; but now, when volunteers take her for a walk, she lights up with happiness. She loves the companionship of people. She was surrendered at the kill shelter, her owner explaining that he could no longer afford to keep a pet; he told us how much Lulu loves people; she's only about 7 years old and has a lot more years and love to give.
