Lady is one peculiar, odd, special, unique little dog who has her own appeal! Pulled from death the night before her euthanasia appointment, she has been in boarding house for almost a year---can someone out there finally show this girl a loving home? She's not perfect, but she'll love you like no other. Lady is an adult dog (around 3 years old) who was emaciated at the time she was found--an obvious throwaway mom, she has borne many puppies in her short life. Her hair was so fine and short and barely there, she indeed looked like a little Cow--that's what she was like to me, a cute little cowgirl, very friendly with humans, and so endearing. Lady has her issues with some other dogs--and who wouldn't, after she's been bred so often? She barks at them from her run, but we think she can learn to trust a doggie friend in the house. When she got out of her run once, she ran with a lot of dogs and had no problems at all! So much potential here! She'll need some work once she's established in her own home, one thing at a time, take it slow and really show her what a real home is like. The trainer at the boarding house said "she's got her problems, is a dog who was not well cared for and is odd looking but she certainly has her own appeal". I call it the little cowgirl appeal, and he agrees. Lady has come so far in such a short time--she has filled out, her hair is coming in thicker, and she's really trying so hard.
