American Staffordshire Terrier - Large - Young - Male - Dog - Il
Description
This gorgeous dog was slated to be put down at the pound, but we saved him by placing him in a boarding facility and now we are looking for a foster or forever home for him. Illinois, a 2 year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix, was found tied to a tree in front of a police precinct. First, he's abandoned to the street. Then he found himself in strange surroundings at the pound. Now he is safe and no longer subject to euthanasia at the pound. Illinois appears to be housetrained and knows some basic commands such as "sit". Illinois is very mild-mannered and also walks nicely on a leash. He weighs 68 pounds. He is sweet and energetic and a big boy who loves people, and he'd do great with someone who could be consistent with his basic obedience and a nice exercise routine: what a beauty! Illinois is recommended to be placed in a dog experienced home with no other dogs. If you can offer Illinois a foster or forever home so we can remove him from kennel life once and for all, please call 646 642 2227 or email dakodalove@gmail.com. You can also make a donation via paypal to sponsor Illinois to our email address dakodalove@gmail.com. We also offer a program where you can foster Illinois with the option to adopt.
