PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE JOB DESCRIPTION BELOW BEFORE RESPONDING:

I own a small painting company and am in the middle of a large residential job on a tight deadline. I need one or two more painters to help me get it done quickly and beautifully. The work would begin tomorrow morning (November 1st) and will probably last through Tuesday or Wednesday.

Please only respond if you have significant PROFESSIONAL experience painting (please, no carpenters or handymen who paint once in a while) and you must own your own hand tools (brushes, rollers, etc). I provide all other supplies such as drops, ladders and roller sleeves. Union experience a plus, but not necessary. However, you must be fast and extremely neat, and able to cut a perfect ceiling/wall line without tape or edgers.

I am willing to start you with $100-$140 per day, but if you exceed my expectations this rate may increase. Also, if you prove yourself valuable, this could turn into a steady gig for you.

Candidates with driver's licenses (and their own vehicles) preferred. The job is in NJ and I will be leaving from the Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn around 7:30 am in the morning. If you don't have your own transportation then I can pick you up at the 86th Street station on the R subway line in Brooklyn. I am also willing to pick up in Staten Island, immediately off the S.I. Expressway.
