Description Provides maintenance and repairs on the College's heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems: troubleshoots pneumatic and digital electronic controls for various systems, including HVAC, chillers, compressors and air handlers systems; repairs the College's plumbing fixtures throughout the facility, including sanitary and storm waste systems, domestic water storage tanks and hot water heaters; responds to plumbing services calls from occupants of the campus including repairing leaks, replacing fixtures and plumbing installations of lab equipment; provides maintenance to architectural systems, mechanical systems and electrical systems; inspects utility systems.
3-5 years experience in an institution or commercial facility with complex infrastructure; High School Diploma/GED or completion of technical school training program required; must be able to lift or carry objects weighing 50 pounds and push and pull objects up to 100 pounds; experience in understanding interrelationships between multiple mechanical systems highly desirable.
Note: Must be able to work on weekends, off-hours and holidays as needed.
