This is a cheap service for a simple reason; instead of replacing your logic board, I repair it. The logic board contains the graphics processor, your CPU, and various I/O & controllers on it.

The Macbook logic board is not modular in nature. If one small component fails, most shops will replace the whole thing. However, in most cases, all of that expensive stuff on the board is STILL PERFECTLY FUNCTIONAL. Scrapping the board is a complete waste; a voltage regulator transistor that costs pennies to produce in Taiwan should not require scrapping an entire motherboard.
