International touring & recording artist Dave Madden now accepting students of all ages for drum lessons. 30yrs exp. Original drummer for The Doors/Jim Morrison celebration"Wild Child", & current drummer for "That '70s Rock Show". 3yrs head drum instructor for Day Jams Music summer camp for kids. I have studied with world-renowned drummers such as Terry Bozzio (of Frank Zappa, Missing Persons fame), John Hernandez (Oingo Boingo ), Chester Thompson (Genesis,Weather Report) & Denny Seiwell (Paul McCartney ).
I will teach you the rudimentary fundamentals & the proper techniques of the art of drumming, including sight reading, or just learning how to play your favorite songs. You will learn very easily & quickly what has taken me a lifetime to acquire, & have fun while doing it!! I prefer teaching children & beginners because they are like sponges with no bad habits yet. More time spent teaching than re-teaching!!
