Hi there! My name is Adeley. I came to Bideawee from a municipal shelter in New York City in August of 2008!!! I've been living at Bideawee for over a year. Perhaps it's because I'm seven years old. Could it be that people think I'm old and frail because that's so far from the truth? Check out how playful and spunky I can get on the movie I star in on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PK8uKS2nHQg. I've lived in Bideawee's Kitty Cat Habitats with up to 15 other cats and did just fine; however, they recently moved me to a separate room because I am on a special diet and require some medication for a minor skin issue. It's really not a big deal and my skin looks shiny and soft now! I love to snuggle, perch on shoulders, get rubs on the jowls, bat toys around (and even carry them around) and play with other cats! My ideal home can have other cats (but you'll have to feed us separately) and older kids. I love to play and may get too eager for the little ones. I love attention and, like most cats, will try to take your attention away from work or reading. I think I'm a great mix between a cat that can entertain you with silly things and a cat that can provide you with lots of pet therapy after a long day's work. Although they take great care of me here, I think I'm well overdue to get my happy second life with a new family soon! My wish is to get a new family before the holidays this year.
