This calico female was rescued from a pizza shop in Red Hook. The owner of the shop had welcomed her into his outside shed but decided that finding her a proper forever home was going to be best for her. He agreed to let us take her into our care and get her fully vetted. The owner was sad to see her go but knew that she would be in good hands with us. Marigold is a gorgeous calico cat that has an amazing spirit. Marigold loves to be loved - she can't get enough of it! She doesn't have one shy bone in her body and loves to be around people. Marigold is right around 1 year old. She is super healthy. Marigold has been tested for FELV/FIV (negative/negative), is flea free, has received her vaccines, and has been dewormed. She has also been spayed. Marigold will quickly be your best buddy! She is extremely charming and fun. We feel that she will more than likely do best in a home where she can be the only cat. As we all know, calicos like to be queens of the household!! Here are some of her special likes: - being in a bathtub or in the bathroom and cuddling with towels - she loves to play on her own with her toys - to be pet - being the center of the attention (she is a true calico in that respect!) - she loves to eat her daily bowl of dry food piece by piece instead of all at once, so dainty!
