Description Under direction, is assistant to the Administrator in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics and the Institute for Computational Biomedicine: assists with the management of day to day activities of both offices and their interconnection; manages faculty and non-faculty academic appointments, re-appointments, terminations and associated payroll forms; monitors requests for new hires and terminations; develops new hire packets; maintains database of all grant applications submitted and funded; manages all financial matters relating to sponsored research sub-contracts; coordinates seminar series and journal clubs; prepares invoices, payment requests, travel reimbursements, service contracts; performs other job related duties as required.
Bachelor's degree with three to five years related experience required; SAP experience a plus; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; excellent organization and communication skills.
