Position: Service Dispatcher


Responsibilities:


On a day to day basis this person will be:

-Responsible for handling calls from clients and dispatching service technicians and subcontractors to client sites to resolve issues.

-They will be required to get the proper and accurate client information and the reason for the service calls

-Follow-up and follow through with client regarding the service call to make sure the job was completed properly and no additional work is needed.

-Handling the scheduling of the technicians for their weekly client visits

-Generating purchase orders when needed for subcontractors

-Communicating with the purchasing team to ensure that the proper equipment/parts were ordered

-Working with the billing department to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoices being sent out


Experience:


-Experience as a dispatcher from the service industry (Alarm, HVAC, IT, Telephone, Fire)

-Attention to detail

-Great communication skills (phone etiquette needed)

-Clerical/Administrative skills


Hours: 7am or 8am 4:30pm or 5pm

Full Time Monday-Friday

Hourly Wage: $14-16 based on experience


The service dispatcher will responsible for 4 technicians about 2 subcontractors.


The ideal candidate will be very pro-active on issues when they arise.
