One of our leading clients in the financial sector, located in New York, is looking for
Regulatory Reporting Associate to join its team. He/She will be responsible for timely preparation of all broker-dealer SEC reporting in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Companys policies. Responsible for the preparation of other designated balance sheet Head Office reporting, U.S. regulatory reporting, maintaining books and records and preparing concise variance analyses as well as written and verbal business oriented analytical reviews covering the above deliverables.
Responsible for Broker-dealer regulatory reporting preparation and US regulatory filing preparation (BEA, FC1, FC2, FC3 and G4)
- Prepare FOCUS report; 15c3-3 EBOC computation; 15c3-1 daily net capital calculation; journal entries, balance sheet reconcilement.
- Maintain books and records and prepare analytical review, binder and FOCUS meeting materials. Prepare annual audited US GAAP financial statements, and interim unaudited financials.
- Prepare liquidity report, interest rate risk report, CAD II report, flash risk weighted assets report, and analyses for ALCO meeting.
Skills and Qualifications:
- College degree in business, accounting or finance with 5-7 years broker dealer accounting experience.
- Series 27 preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication; organizational skills and ability to work extended hours.
- Expert knowledge interpreting and applying US GAAP for broker-dealers.
- Knowledge of bank regulatory reporting such as Basel II a plus.
- Advanced working experience with MS Excel, including pivot tables.
