Fortune 500 company on Long Island is seeking a Director of Finance for a $2 Billion distribution division.


Key Responsibilities:


Drive actions to achieve and exceed planned improvements in year-over-year revenue, net income, working capital and free cash flow.

Partner with Business Leader to drive strategic and operating plans, and provide relevant data/guidance required to make key business decisions.

Own and execute business governance processes designed to deliver superior financial results.

Lead global financial planning, forecasting and analysis processes including consolidation of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.

Own and set business financial targets to achieve financial plans and forecasts.

Provide leadership and insight during monthly operating reviews with Senior Management.

Advise business leadership of opportunities and risks impacting business performance.

Implement process improvements to reduce finance and business process cycle times, improve financial forecast quality and enhance information provided to senior management for making daily operating decisions.

Drive and track business growth and productivity initiatives across multiple functions.

Drive financial and business system conversions to improve productivity and customer support.

Set schedule and priorities for finance staff globally in support of key business processes.

Partner with sales, marketing, product management and logistics to resolve various financial and business process issues.

Key member of M&A & integration teams. Perform business valuations and due diligence supporting execution of strategic plan.

Finance process and technical expert supporting business needs globally.


Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or business administration.

CPA or MBA preferred.

10 to 15 years experience in a finance positions with increasing responsibility.

Excellent analytical skills.

Strong leadership, mentoring and people management skill.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
